Seniors Safety Symposium:

Seniors Home Accessibility Seminar:

On Thursday, January 11, 2024 Bridges of Love launched our Seniors Home Accessibility Program with a seminar on how to age in place safely. Seniors were able to hear directly from Holistic Nutritionist Grace Belfiore.

Seniors Frauds and Scams Awareness Seminar:

On Wednesday, August 9, 2023 Bridges of Love of York Region hosted a workshop on frauds and scams. Seniors were able to learn from York Regional Police officer Erin Brown on how to identify and prevent frauds and scams from taking place.

On June 1, 2023 Bridges of Love of York Region hosted an Elder Abuse Awareness Seminar for seniors. Seniors were able to hear from a YRP Officer and Registered Social Workers on how to identify potential signs of elder abuse and what to do in these situations.
