McMichael Art Gallery Tour:
On July 3, 2026, Bridges of Love treated the seniors in our Day Program to a tour of the McMichael Art Gallery where they learned about the paintings of Tom Thomson and more.
Seniors and Aging Seminar with Opulife:
In June 2026, Bridges of Love and Opulife teamed up to make sure every senior in our community has the support they need to age at home, safe and comfortably.
On November 19, 2025, Bridges of Love hosted an Elder Abuse Awareness Seminar for seniors. Seniors were able to hear from Vaughan Counselling on how to identify potential signs of elder abuse and what to do in these situations.
Seniors Safety Symposium:
On March 27, 2024, Bridges of Love hosted a Seniors Safety Symposium. Seniors were able to hear from the York Regional Police and Vaughan Fire and Rescue Services on how to keep their homes safe from break-and-enters and how to fireproof them.
Seniors Home Accessibility Launch:
On January 11, 2024, Bridges of Love launched their Seniors Home Accessibility program with an amazing seminar on how to age in place safely.

Elder Abuse Awareness Seminar:
On June 1, 2023, Bridges of Love hosted an Elder Abuse Awareness seminar dedicated to our cherished seniors. Joined by the York Regional Police, they provided seniors with knowledge on identifying, preventing, and halting elder abuse.
Carnival with Our Seniors:
On March 5, 2023, Bridges of Love was happy to host a night to celebrate Carnival, where we were joined by the Vaughan City Council.
